Visiting Cumberland County Jail

Appointments Only

Every visit needs an appointment; walk-ins are not accepted. Call 856-453-4683 to book. Each person can have one visit a day.

In-Person, Non-Contact

Family visits are non-contact and run in 15-minute slots set by housing block:

• Main Jail: weekday evenings, from about 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.
• Annex: Saturday and Sunday, from 8 a.m. to mid-afternoon.

The county posts a schedule for each building showing which block visits when. Ask for the person’s block when you call.

Video Visits From Home

Book at ccdocvisit.com. Family video visits cost $2.00 each; there are no free video visits for family. Sessions run 8 to 11:25 a.m., 1 to 6:25 p.m. and 8 to 10:15 p.m.

ID and Children

Bring proper identification. A birth certificate may be needed for children, and you are responsible for their conduct.

What to Wear

No sheer or mesh clothing, bare midriffs, thin straps, bare feet, or shorts and skirts more than 2 inches above the knee.

Fifteen Minutes Goes Fast

A non-contact slot lasts a quarter of an hour. For the rest, Pigeonly turns a letter or photos from your phone into mail for the jail in Bridgeton.
