Three Visits a Week
Each person can have three visits a week, from 30 minutes to an hour. Visiting days rotate by floor and change with the person’s classification, so ask on 973-631-5174 which days apply to your person.

Who Can Come
Up to two adults plus related children, or three adults with no children.
ID
A U.S. government photo ID or a foreign passport.
What to Wear
Nothing see-through or skin-tight. Tops cover shoulders and midriff; shorts and skirts at least mid-thigh. No uniforms or flip-flops.
Sussex and Somerset County Families
Since fall 2019, all Sussex County inmates are housed here. Since October 22, 2024, Somerset County processes people in Somerville and then transfers them here too. Families from both counties visit in Morristown.
On the Days Without a Visit
Between the three weekly visits, Pigeonly sends a printed letter typed on your phone to 43 John Street.
