Book Online, a Day Ahead

Book through the Visitation Scheduling link on the county’s Department of Corrections page, at least 24 hours in advance. Slots go first come, first served. You do not need approval before your first visit.

If the person has been held 24 hours or less, call the jail on 518-736-2198 to set up a first visit.

Arrive 15 Minutes Early

Be there at least 15 minutes before your slot. Late arrivals are not taken. Once you check in, do not leave the lobby, or the visit ends.

ID

  • 16 and over: photo ID with a date of birth, such as a driver’s license, non-driver ID, benefit card, passport or military ID.
  • Under 16: a birth certificate or a photocopy.

Who Can Come

Two visitors per visit. A third is allowed only if it is a child small enough to sit on a lap, and children under 5 stay on an adult’s lap the whole visit.

A child comes with a parent, either visiting or the person held, or with a notarized letter from a parent or guardian.

Bring Nothing In

Nothing goes into the visiting room: no hoodies, coats, hats, purses, diaper bags, keys, phones, candy, gum or drinks. Leave it in your car or a lobby locker. Everyone is searched electronically.

Passing any item ends the visit at once.

If the Weekday Slots Don’t Fit Your Job

Every Fulton slot falls on a weekday between 9 AM and 3:15 PM, and each one is booked a day ahead. When work rules those hours out, Pigeonly keeps you in touch another way: type a letter or pick photos on your phone, and we print them and mail them to the jail.
