How to Send Mail and Photos to FCI El Reno

Inmate Mailing Address

Write the inmate’s full name and BOP register number clearly. Mail that cannot be delivered to an inmate is returned to the sender.

Legal Mail

Money and Funds

Photos

Personal photographs are accepted if submitted according to BOP guidelines. Photos must be appropriate: no nudity, violence, maps, or gang symbols. Include the inmate’s full name and BOP register number on the back of each print.

Books, Magazines, and Newspapers

Reading materials must come directly from the publisher or a recognized retailer. Softcover books are preferred; hardcovers are not accepted. Do not send library discards.

• Content depicting nudity, violence, or gang affiliation

Inspection

All incoming non-privileged mail is opened and inspected. If prohibited items are found, the inmate may lose mail privileges.
