Setting Up an ICSolutions Account

Kilby’s official page on doc.alabama.gov links ICSolutions at icsonline.icsolutions.com as the facility’s inmate phone system. Domestic calls cost $0.08 a minute and international calls cost carrier cost plus $0.08 a minute, per ADOC’s Male Inmate Handbook (effective August 1, 2025). Go to icsonline.icsolutions.com to set up an account, add funds, and manage how calls connect to your phone number, or call Kilby at (334) 215-6600 with other questions.

Phone Access During Intake

Kilby is ADOC’s statewide Receiving and Classification Center. People newly admitted there are still being processed and evaluated before assignment to a long-term facility. ADOC doesn’t publish whether phone or tablet privileges are available immediately upon arrival or only after part of the classification process is complete. If the person you’re trying to reach was just sentenced, ask ICSolutions or the facility directly at (334) 215-6600 whether their account is set up yet.

These rates apply statewide across ADOC facilities, per ADOC’s Male Inmate Handbook (effective August 1, 2025):

A Few Things Still Not Confirmed

Several details about Kilby’s phone system aren’t published on ADOC’s site:

• Call time limits, if any.
• Whether phone or tablet access differs for someone still in classification versus general population.

Ask about these when you call (334) 215-6600 or when you set up your ICSolutions account. Video visitation is confirmed available at $0.16 a minute, per ADOC’s Male Inmate Handbook.

Digital Messaging: Two Options, Unclear Which Is Primary

Families and friends have two ways to send digital messages, based on official ADOC sources, and it isn’t clear which one Kilby actively prioritizes:

• CorrLinks, at corrlinks.com or through the CorrLinks mobile app, a widely used inmate messaging system.
• ICSolutions eMessage, linked directly from Kilby’s own official ADOC facility page as “Send eMessage” at icsonline.icsolutions.com.

Since Kilby’s own page specifically links the ICSolutions option, try that first. If it doesn’t work the way you expect, ask facility staff or check whether CorrLinks is also active for this specific facility.

Calls Are Monitored

As with virtually every ADOC facility, phone calls and digital messages through the facility’s approved systems are subject to monitoring and recording. This is standard practice and not unique to Kilby.

Funding an Account

You can add money to an ICSolutions phone or tablet account, though the exact relationship between ICSolutions phone funding and Access Corrections deposits to the inmate’s general account isn’t detailed on ADOC’s site. If you’re unsure whether funding through Access Corrections covers phone time or whether ICSolutions requires its own separate deposit, ask when you call the facility.

If Calls or Messages Aren’t Working

Confirm your account is funded and that your phone number is entered correctly in ICSolutions. Some cell carriers block calls from correctional facilities by default, so check with your carrier if calls won’t connect at all.
