The Holmes County Jail uses JailATM to accept deposits into an inmate’s account. You can send money online at jailatm.com or use the kiosk at the jail in person with cash or a card. Either way, a 10% fee applies to credit or debit card payments. If the inmate has any liens on their account, such as court-ordered fees, that amount is debited from your deposit first, and the inmate receives whatever is left over.
Visit jailatm.com and click “Send Money Now.”
You’ll need to create a JailATM account using your email address. Add your personal information and set a password. JailATM sends you a confirmation email with a link to add money.
Log in to your new account and click “Send Money Now” again. Select the state, Florida, and then the facility, Holmes Co. Type in the inmate’s last name and hit search.
Click the inmate’s name from the search results, then add your payment information to complete the deposit. Remember that a 10% fee applies to credit or debit card payments.
If you’re visiting in person, you can use the kiosk at the Holmes County Jail to deposit funds directly using a credit or debit card or cash. The same 10% card fee applies at the kiosk. Cash deposits at the kiosk do not carry the card fee.
If the inmate has any liens on their account, such as court-ordered fees or restitution, that amount is deducted from your deposit automatically. The inmate receives only the remaining balance after the lien is paid. Keep this in mind if you’re sending a specific amount for commissary or phone time and the inmate doesn’t receive the full amount.
Have the inmate’s full legal name, especially the correct spelling of their last name, ready before you begin the JailATM process. If you’re not sure of the exact spelling, call 850-547-3681, Option 2, to confirm before sending money to avoid a failed search.
