Call Securus at 1-800-844-6591 to create an account for phone calls. The same account also covers video visitation, so you can manage both from one place.

How Calls Work

As with most jails, the inmate places the call from inside the facility. You generally can’t call in directly. Make sure your Securus account has funds available so the inmate can reach you.

Kiosk Messaging

In addition to phone calls, Taylor County Jail supports kiosk-based messaging through inmateinbox.com. This lets you send written messages that the inmate can read on a jail kiosk, similar to email.

Managing Your Account

Log in to your Securus account online or call 1-800-844-6591 to add funds, check your balance, or ask questions about call rates.

Troubleshooting Failed Calls

If calls aren’t coming through, confirm your Securus account has sufficient funds and that your phone isn’t blocking unknown or out-of-area numbers. Contact Securus at 1-800-844-6591 if the problem continues.
