How Calls Work at Anson CI

Calls from Anson Correctional Institution are outbound only. The person inside dials out to you. You cannot call the facility and ask to be connected to someone. When a call comes in, you will see a prompt asking whether to accept it. If your AdvancePay account has funds, the call connects.

The rate is $0.10 per minute. Each call is capped at 15 minutes. At 15 minutes, the call ends automatically. The person can call back, but a new call begins and billing restarts.

To set up video visits:

  1. Go to sso.gtlconnect.com or download the GettingOut Visits app.
  2. Create a free account.
  3. Search for Anson Correctional Institution.
  4. Add your contact information and funds.
  5. Schedule a visit in advance, or request an on-demand visit if the person has a tablet.
