At the kiosk, you’ll enter the person’s booking number and name, choose an amount, and pay with cash or card. Fees still apply at the kiosk.

Money deposited through InmateCanteen goes to the person’s commissary account. They can use it to buy:

If the person is released, their remaining commissary balance is typically returned to them or handled according to jail policy. If they are transferred to a state facility, call (828) 250-4503 to ask about what happens to the balance before depositing more.
