The Forsyth County Detention Center uses Access Corrections for money deposits. You can send money online at accesscorrections.com, through the Access Corrections app, by calling 866-345-1884, at the lobby kiosk inside the detention center, or by mailing a money order. Deposits made Monday through Friday before 3:30 p.m. are available the same day. Deposits made Friday after 3:30 p.m. or on weekends are available after 11:00 a.m. the following Monday.
Access Corrections handles all deposits for the Forsyth County Detention Center. You have four ways to send money. Choose the option that works best for you.
Fees apply and are shown before you confirm. The amount varies by deposit size and payment method.
Call Access Corrections at 866-345-1884 any time, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Have the person’s name, inmate ID, and your payment card ready before you call.
The detention center has a deposit kiosk in the records lobby. It accepts cash, credit cards, and debit cards. Kiosk hours are Monday through Sunday, 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. This is a good option if you are already at the facility for a visit or if you prefer to pay in cash.

Mail-in processing takes longer than online or phone deposits. Allow several business days for funds to post. If you are trying to get money to someone quickly, use the online, phone, or kiosk options.

Timing depends on when you deposit:

If a weekday deposit was made before 3:30 p.m. and still has not posted by the end of the day, contact Access Corrections first before assuming there is a facility-side issue.
The Forsyth County Detention Center may place holds on accounts under certain circumstances, such as court-ordered restitution or outstanding obligations. If a deposit is made but the person says the funds are not available for their use, contact the facility directly at (336) 917-7600 for an explanation.
If the person is transferred to another facility, funds in their account may transfer with them depending on the receiving facility’s policies. At release, remaining funds are typically returned to the person or disbursed according to facility policy.
