All NJDOC visits are by appointment, at least 48 hours ahead, and every visitor, adults and children, must be on the person’s approved visit list.

Visits run on weekends for Facility 1, 2 and 3, the ECU and the Minimum Unit, with the same times on both days:

ID

A current photo driver’s license or MVC non-driver ID, photo Welfare or Medicaid card, employment photo ID, or passport.

Children

Relatives under 18 come with an adult relative, who brings written parental consent.

What to Wear

No skin-tight, sheer or see-through clothing (leggings and rompers included), bare shoulders, midriffs or cleavage, tank or crop tops, hoodies, scrubs, khaki, orange, gray or camouflage, flip-flops or slides.

Lockers

Lockers cost $0.50, quarters only, and a change machine is available.

From Sunday Afternoon to Saturday Morning
