The First 24 Hours

Someone newly booked can have one 20-minute non-contact visit within 24 hours, unless a regular visiting day falls in that time.

What to Leave Behind

Nothing goes in the visiting room except a pacifier for a baby. Lockers in the lobby take a quarter, returned with the key. No phones, keys, money, papers, hair clips or ribbons, and no jewelry except wedding rings, religious medallions and medical alert bracelets. Your mouth must be empty: no gum or candy.

Dress Code

Not allowed: midriff-baring clothing, cut-off T-shirts, spaghetti straps, sleeveless shirts, coats, hooded sweatshirts, layered clothing and jeans with lots of holes.

In the Room

Stay seated. A brief hug and kiss at the start and end. The person held cannot hold children, and nothing is passed.

Between Tuesday and Saturday

Visits only happen on Tuesdays and Saturdays, and you can book the next visiting day and no further. For the days in between, Pigeonly prints the photos and letters you send from your phone and mails them to the jail.
