Wayne County Jail Mailing Address

The Address

The Sheriff’s FAQ gives a post office box, not the street address:

[Full Name]
PO Box 477
Lyons, New York 14489

Use the person’s full name. The same box takes money orders and certified checks for commissary.

Not the Street Address

The jail itself is at 7368 Route 31, and the Sheriff’s offices at 7376 Route 31. Letters go to PO Box 477.

Books and Magazines Are Not Accepted

The Sheriff’s FAQ says only money may be left with the receptionist, and books and magazines will not be accepted.

Commissary Gift Packs

Instead of dropping items off, you can buy a commissary gift pack through mycarepack.com, which the Sheriff names.

Not Wayne County, Michigan

A letter to Wayne County with the wrong state goes to Detroit. Write Lyons, New York 14489.

Photos From Your Phone

Pigeonly prints letters and photos from your phone and posts them to PO Box 477, with the name already in place.
