London CI offers in-person visiting Tuesday through Saturday in two sessions each day.
| Session | Hours | Check-in Closes |
|---|---|---|
| Morning (Session 1) | 7:45 AM to noon | 10:30 AM |
| Afternoon (Session 2) | 12:30 PM to 5:00 PM | 3:30 PM |

No visits take place on holidays. If you are unsure whether your planned visit date falls on a holiday, contact London CI at (740) 852-2454 before scheduling.
Before you can schedule any visit, you must be approved as a visitor through the ViaPath online visitation system at ohdoc.gtlvisitme.com/app. This is the system used for Ohio ODRC facilities.
To register:
Unregistered visitors cannot attend. This includes minors. Courtesy visits for unregistered minors are no longer authorized. Every visitor of any age must be an approved applicant in the ViaPath system before the visit.
For registration questions, email [email protected].
Once approved, log into your ViaPath account at ohdoc.gtlvisitme.com/app and follow these steps:
If you need to make changes, log back into the portal before your visit date. Changes made on the day of the visit will not be accommodated.
Bring a valid, government-issued photo ID. All visitors 18 and older must present ID at check-in. Acceptable IDs generally include a driver’s license, state ID, passport, or other government-issued photo identification. Expired IDs are not accepted.
Bring your confirmation number from the ViaPath portal. Staff may ask for it during check-in.
Do not bring large bags, purses, or prohibited items into the facility. Lockers or secure storage may be available for personal items. Call (740) 852-2454 to confirm what storage is available at check-in.
ODRC facilities maintain dress code requirements for all visitors. Do not wear:
For specific restrictions at London CI, call (740) 852-2454 before your visit. Visitors turned away for dress code violations will not be admitted for that session.
All minors must be approved visitors in the ViaPath system before attending. Courtesy visits for unregistered children are not allowed. When scheduling, list every minor who will attend. Children must remain seated or in the visiting area and under adult supervision throughout the visit.
If a minor is not the visitor’s biological child, you may be required to bring documentation such as a birth certificate or notarized permission from a parent or guardian. Call (740) 852-2454 to confirm what documentation is required for your situation before traveling.
London CI offers daily video visitation through the ViaPath system. Video visits are available in three daily windows:
Schedule video visits the same way as in-person visits through ohdoc.gtlvisitme.com/app. Video visitation can be a practical option for family members who live far from London, OH, or for visits between in-person scheduling windows.
Visits can be terminated if any party violates facility rules. Common reasons for early termination include passing items to or from the inmate, inappropriate physical contact, behavior that disrupts the visiting room, or attempting to smuggle contraband. A terminated visit may result in suspension of visiting privileges.
Speak with your loved one ahead of your visit about conduct expectations. Rules are enforced consistently.
