Video Visitation Through Prodigy Solutions

Video visitation at Grady County Jail runs through Prodigy Solutions. Here is how to set it up.

Step 1: Go to prodigysales.com. You can also use the Prodigy app if available on your device.

Step 2: Create an account. Use your real name and a valid email address.

Step 3: Find Grady County Jail in the facility list and add it to your account.

Step 4: Schedule a visit. Choose an available session time. Sessions must be scheduled at least 12 hours before the visit. Add funds to your account to cover the session cost.

Step 5: Join at the scheduled time. Use a phone, tablet, or computer with a camera and microphone. Join the session at the time you booked.

In-Person Visitation

In-person visiting hours and rules are not published on the GCCJA website. County jails often adjust schedules based on staffing and housing unit needs, so it’s worth calling before making the trip.

Call the jail at (405) 222-1000 to ask:

• Current in-person visiting days and hours
• Whether you need to pre-register as a visitor
• What ID is required
• Any dress code or item restrictions

Lobby hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, closed on major holidays.

What to Bring for In-Person Visits

When you do visit in person, bring a valid government-issued photo ID. Acceptable forms typically include a driver’s license, state ID, or passport. Expired IDs are generally not accepted.

Leave personal items, including phones, in your vehicle or in a locker if the facility provides one. Dressing conservatively and avoiding clothing that resembles inmate uniforms (orange, khaki) is standard practice at county jails.
