Find Someone at Greenwood County Detention Center

Step 2. Search JailTracker by Name

Enter the person’s first and last name in the JailTracker search tool. JailTracker is a booking and records platform used by a number of county jails nationwide, and Greenwood County’s implementation lets you search without creating an account.

What the Results Show

JailTracker results typically include booking date, current charges, bond information if set, and custody status. This gives you a clearer picture than a phone call alone, though it won’t include projected release dates or housing unit assignment, for those details, call the facility directly.

Why Someone Might Not Show Up

A few common reasons: they were recently arrested and haven’t been fully processed into the system yet, they’ve already been released or posted bond, they were transferred to another facility, or the name was entered with a variation (nickname, hyphenated last name, misspelling) that doesn’t match county records exactly.
