Why Someone Might Not Appear

Recent transfer. New arrivals or transfers from another DOC facility can take 24 to 48 hours to show up in VINELink after processing. If you know they were transferred to Allen CC, give it two full days.
Name variation. VINELink searches by the legal name on file with DOC. Try alternate spellings or last name only.
Not yet sentenced. Pre-trial detainees awaiting sentencing are typically held at parish jails, not DOC facilities like Allen CC.
Released. If the person has completed their sentence, they won’t appear as currently incarcerated.

Allen Correctional Center was privately operated by GEO Group from its opening in December 1990 until August 2017, when GEO terminated its contract and Louisiana DOC took over direct management.
