How to Send Money to Allen Correctional Center

What You Need Before Sending

Have these ready before any deposit:

1. The inmate’s full legal name (as registered with Louisiana DOC)
2. Their Louisiana DOC ID number (find it by searching VINELink or by calling Allen CC at (337) 639-2943)

Account number format: DOC ID number + last name, no spaces (example: 1234567SMITH)

Option 1: JPay Online (Most Common)

Website: jpay.com

1. Go to jpay.com and select “Send Money”
2. Choose Louisiana as the state and search for Allen Correctional Center
3. Enter the inmate’s name and DOC ID
4. Choose your deposit amount (up to $300)
5. Pay by debit or credit card

Fees: $3.50 to $10.50 depending on amount
Processing time: Within 48 hours

Option 2: JPay by Phone

Same limits as online. Up to $300 per transaction. Phone fees are slightly higher ($4.50 to $11.50). Have your payment card and the inmate’s DOC ID ready.

• Account number: DOC ID + last name (no spaces)

• Walmart Money Center, CVS, Kroger, and other MoneyGram agent locations

Processing time: Within 24 hours
Fees: Vary by location and amount

Option 4: Mail a Money Order

Make the money order payable to JPay and include the inmate’s name and DOC ID number.

What the Money Pays For

Funds deposited to the inmate’s JPay/commissary account cover:

• Weekly commissary purchases (food, hygiene, clothing, electronics)
• Securus phone call credits
• Postage for outgoing mail
• Any facility-approved purchases
