Phone Calls at Orange County Jail

The Orange County Jail’s phones, visit scheduling and video visits run through ViaPath, the company behind ConnectNetwork. Its facility listing shows four services: AdvancePay Phone, PIN Debit, visitation scheduling and video visitation.

AdvancePay: Funded From Your Side

AdvancePay is a prepaid account in your name. Calls from the jail to your number are paid from it. Open one by phone on 800-483-8314 or on ConnectNetwork.

Set it up early, so the first call can connect.

PIN Debit: Funded From Their Side

PIN Debit is a phone account the person inside pays for from their own funds, and they can call any approved number with it.

You Cannot Call In

There is no way to phone someone held at the jail. Calls go out only.

Video Visits Are for Professionals

The Sheriff says video conferencing at the jail is available for professional visits, such as lawyers. Family visits are in person and booked through the same scheduling site.
