Sending Money to Orange County Jail

Cash at the Front Lobby

The Sheriff’s visiting rules give one route for money: cash only, at the front lobby, during set hours.

Hours
Morning and early afternoon	7:45 AM to 1:30 PM
Afternoon and evening	3:15 PM to 9:30 PM

Anyone leaving money must show a valid ID.

Not During the Visit

Nothing can be handed to the person during a visit. Money goes in at the lobby, not across the visiting room counter.

Phone Credit Is Separate

Calls run through ViaPath’s AdvancePay account on 800-483-8314, funded through ViaPath, not through the commissary account. ViaPath also lists PIN Debit, a phone account the person inside funds themselves.

Beyond the Account

Money covers commissary. Pigeonly sends printed photos and letters from your phone to Wells Farm Road, which a deposit does not.
