Overview
Scioto County Jail uses Access Corrections as its commissary deposit vendor. You can deposit money online, in person, or by mail. Funds go into the inmate’s commissary account and cover purchases from the jail’s commissary kiosk. Inmates order twice a week, on Monday and Thursday. Money must be deposited by 9:30 AM on order day to be available for that order. The per-order cap is $60.

Option 1: Online via Access Corrections
Go to accesscorrections.com and create an account or log in. You’ll need:
The inmate’s full legal name
Scioto County Jail as the facility
A debit card or credit card
Deposits typically post within a few hours. A service fee is charged per transaction and shown before you confirm.
Option 2: In-Person Cash Deposit
Bring cash to the Scioto County Sheriff’s Administrative Office at 1025 16th Street, Portsmouth, OH 45662. Cash deposits are accepted Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. This is the only in-person deposit method. No personal checks.
Option 3: Certified Money Order by Mail

Inmates at Scioto County Jail can order from the commissary kiosk twice a week:
