Little Sandy Correctional Complex uses Access Corrections, operated by the Keefe Group, for inmate account deposits. This is confirmed on the official Kentucky DOC payment services page. To send money, go to accesscorrections.com, select Kentucky DOC, and enter the inmate’s name and KY DOC number. You can also mail a money order directly to the facility. Funds go to the inmate’s account for commissary purchases, phone calls through Securus, and tablet media.
Before starting a deposit, have two things ready: the inmate’s full legal name and their KY DOC number.
The DOC number is the most important piece. Without it, your deposit may go to the wrong account or be held while staff sort it out.
If you don’t have the DOC number, look it up using KOOL at kool.corrections.ky.gov. Search by the person’s full name and the record will show their DOC number, current facility, and basic sentence information.
Go to accesscorrections.com and create an account if you don’t have one. Once logged in, select Kentucky DOC as the agency and enter the inmate’s name and DOC number to find their account.
Choose your deposit amount and payment method. Access Corrections accepts credit and debit cards for online transactions. Online deposits typically post to the inmate’s account faster than mailed money orders.
Write the inmate’s full legal name and KY DOC number on the memo line of the money order. Do not send cash. Mail it to:

Money orders take longer than online deposits because they go through regular mail and then facility processing. If the deposit doesn’t appear after several business days, contact Access Corrections customer support or call Little Sandy at (606) 738-6133.
Once funds post to the inmate’s account, they can spend them at commissary on food, hygiene products, clothing, and other approved items available through the facility store. The account also covers the cost of outgoing phone calls through Securus and any messaging or media purchased through the Securus tablet system.
Having money on the account makes a practical difference day-to-day. It lets someone buy extra food, stay in contact with family, and access the tablet programs that provide entertainment and education.
If you sent a deposit online and it hasn’t posted after two business days, contact Access Corrections customer support directly and have your transaction confirmation number ready. If you mailed a money order, allow extra time for mail delivery and processing. If you’re still having trouble, call Little Sandy at (606) 738-6133 and ask for the business office.
