Why You Cannot Call In

Step 2. Add Your Phone Number

Make sure the phone number you want to use is linked to your account. The person inside will dial your number through the IC Solutions system. If your number is not registered, the call may not connect or may be blocked.

Step 3. Fund the Account

Calls are not free. You can prepay through your IC Solutions account so calls always go through. The rate is approximately $0.21 per minute, though rates can change. Check icsolutions.com for the current rate before adding funds.

How Much Each Call Costs

Each call is up to 15 minutes long. At roughly $0.21 per minute, a full 15-minute call costs about $3.15. Confirm the exact current rate at icsolutions.com before funding your account. The rate quoted above comes from third-party sources and was not independently confirmed on the IC Solutions website at time of publication.

First-call offer: The first 60 seconds of the very first call from a new number are complimentary. This applies one time per inmate per phone number.

Calling Options

IC Solutions offers several ways to fund and accept calls:

PIN debit calling	The person uses credits from their commissary account to pay per call.
Collect calling	You accept charges when the call comes in (availability varies by carrier).

Most families find prepaid calling to be the easiest option. It ensures calls go through without interruption.

Video Visits Through IC Solutions

Are Calls Recorded?
