Moore County Detention Center uses JailATM for money deposits. You can deposit online at deposits.jailatm.com, call 877-810-0914, use the cash kiosk in the jail lobby, or mail a money order to PO Box 159, Carthage, NC 28327. Every deposit requires the person’s full legal name and inmate ID number. Money goes to their account for commissary purchases, phone time through NCIC, and other authorized items.
Go to deposits.jailatm.com. Search for Moore County Detention Center in North Carolina. You will need:
Enter the amount, confirm the service fee (shown before you pay), and submit. Deposits typically post within a few hours. JailATM sends you a confirmation when the funds arrive.
Call JailATM at 877-810-0914. You can complete a deposit over the phone using a debit or credit card. Have the person’s name and inmate ID ready before you call.
Phone agents are available. If you prefer not to use the website, this is a direct option.
The jail lobby has a JailATM kiosk. You can use it to deposit cash, debit, or credit directly. This is useful if you do not have online access or prefer to deposit in person.

You can also mail a money order to the facility. Personal checks and cash are not accepted by mail.
Make the money order out to the person’s name and include their inmate ID on the memo line.

Every deposit method requires the same two things:
If the name or ID does not match the jail’s records exactly, the deposit may be held, rejected, or returned. Get the inmate ID by searching the Moore County inmate roster before you send money.
Funds deposited through JailATM go to the person’s jail account. They can use it for:
Commissary orders go through Oasis/JailCanteen at moorenc.jailcanteen.com or jailcanteen.com. Orders cut off Sunday at 11:59 PM. A $5.95 processing fee applies per order, and delivery takes up to 10 days (once-per-week delivery schedule). Contact Oasis at 800-956-2747 or [email protected].
JailATM charges a service fee on deposits. The fee is displayed before you confirm any transaction, so there are no surprises. Fees vary by deposit method and amount.
If the person transfers to another facility, the balance in their account may or may not transfer automatically. Contact JailATM at 877-810-0914 to ask about the balance and whether a refund or transfer is needed. Confirm the person’s location first by checking the Moore County roster.
If a deposit does not post:
