Sending Money to Delaware County Jail

Cobra Cashier Kiosk

The Cobra Cashier Kiosk in the jail’s main lobby takes cash, credit and debit cards, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Money goes in immediately.

• Bills of $5, $10, $20, $50 and $100.
• $3.25 fee for cash, $4.95 for cards.

Free Cash Drop-Off

Cash can be dropped off with no fee at set times only:

• Wednesdays, 1 to 2 PM
• Sundays, 6 to 7 PM

For any deposit, know the person’s Criminal History Number (CHN), or their full name and date of birth. You get a receipt, and so do they.

From Home

SmartDeposit lets you open an account online and deposit from home.

By Mail

Checks and money orders sent by mail are deposited with a 10-day hold.

Bail

Bail can be paid at the jail in exact cash or by credit card (with a fee), or online through AllPaid. AllPaid’s bail line is 1-877-392-2455; you need the bail payment location code, the amount and the person’s name. Bonds go through the court.

Beyond the Kiosk Receipt

You and they each get a receipt, and the money funds their account. For words they can reread, Pigeonly prints a note or photo you send from your phone and mails it to Delhi.
