Overview
Oklahoma State Penitentiary does not post a standing visitation schedule online. As a maximum-security facility, OSP coordinates visits directly through the ODOC Visitation Unit. All visits must be scheduled in advance, and your request must reach the unit by Wednesday at 1:00 PM. You must be on the inmate’s approved visitor list and bring a valid government-issued photo ID.

Visitor Application Process
Before your first visit, you must be placed on the inmate’s approved visitor list. Here’s how to apply:
Get the Visitor Application Form. The inmate can mail you the form, or you can request it from the ODOC Visitation Unit.
Fill out the form. Provide your full legal name, date of birth, address, and relationship to the inmate.
Submit by the deadline. Mail or deliver the form to the ODOC Visitation Unit so it arrives by Wednesday at 1:00 PM. Late submissions are processed the following week.
Wait for approval. Once approved, the inmate will let you know the scheduled visit date and time.
Approved Visitor Rules
Only the following people may be placed on the approved visitor list:
Immediate family members (spouse, parents, siblings, children, grandparents)
Up to 10 friends or associates per inmate
Other relatives (aunts, uncles, cousins, in-laws) need written approval from the Captain or Associate Warden of Programs
What to Bring
A valid government-issued photo ID (driver’s license, state ID, or passport)
No cell phones, cameras, or recording devices
No large purses, bags, or outerwear that could conceal contraband
You’ll be searched before entering the visiting area. Dress conservatively. Revealing clothing may get you turned away.
