Phone Calls Through TRUFONE
The BOP uses a system called TRULINCS, and the phone component is called TRUFONE. Calls are outbound only: the person at FCI Gilmer calls you. You cannot call into the facility to reach them.
Each BOP inmate gets 300 minutes of phone time per month. Individual calls are limited to 15 minutes each. Your phone number must be on their approved call list, which the person submits to their case manager.
All calls are monitored and recorded by the BOP except properly established legal calls.

BOP email runs through CorrLinks at corrlinks.com. You can set up a free CorrLinks account, but you cannot send the first message. The person inside must send you an invitation from the TRULINCS email terminal at FCI Gilmer. Once you accept, you can exchange messages through CorrLinks.
