Option 1. MoneyGram (Fastest)

Go to a MoneyGram location, such as Walmart, and send money using receive code 7932. You will need the person’s full legal name and BOP register number. MoneyGram also offers an online option at moneygram.com. Fees vary by location and amount.

Option 2. Western Union Quick Collect

Use Western Union Quick Collect with code city FBOP DC. Find a Western Union location or use westernunion.com. Provide the person’s full name and BOP register number. Fees apply.

Option 3. USPS Money Order by Mail

Buy a money order at a post office. Make it payable to the person’s full name. On the back, write their BOP register number and the facility (FCI Gilmer). Mail to:

This option takes longer because the money order must arrive by mail and be processed.
