How to Search

Go to 74.218.167.200/p2c/jailinmates.aspx in your browser. Enter the person’s first and last name in the search fields. The roster lists everyone currently in custody at Cleveland County Detention Center. You do not need to create an account or pay a fee.

If your first search returns no results, try searching by last name only. This helps if there is a spelling variation or if the facility has the person’s name recorded differently than you expect.

What the Search Shows

When the person’s record appears, it will typically include:

• Full legal name
• Booking date
• Charges or holds
• Current custody status
• Housing or unit information

Write down whatever identifying information you need before closing the page. You will use this information when making deposits, writing letters, or scheduling visits.

Timing: When Records Appear and Are Removed

The P2C roster updates regularly, but there is a processing delay after a new booking. Keep these timelines in mind:

• Newly booked: A person who was just arrested may not appear for several hours. If you know someone was recently booked, wait two to four hours and search again.
• Recently released: A person who has been released is typically removed from the roster within 24 hours. If you cannot find someone you expected to see, they may have been released.
• Transferred: If a person was moved to another facility, they will no longer appear on the Cleveland County roster.

Why Someone Might Not Appear

If the search returns no results, there are a few possible explanations:

• Too soon after booking. Wait a few hours and try again.
• Name spelling. Try alternate spellings or search by last name only.
• Released. Confirm with the facility by calling (704) 669-3001.
• Transferred. Ask staff whether the person was moved to another county, a state facility, or federal custody.
• New Justice Center transition. If the facility recently moved to the new consolidated Justice Center, roster systems may have been updated. Call (704) 669-3001 to confirm.

If none of these apply, call (704) 669-3001 and ask staff to check manually.

What to Do After You Find Them

Once you confirm the person is in custody at Cleveland County Detention Center, you can:
