Cleveland County Detention Center uses JailPackStore, operated by McDaniel Supply, for all money deposits. You can send money online at store.jailpackstore.com with a credit or debit card, use the in-person kiosk at 407 McBrayer Street, or mail a money order to PO Box 1508, Shelby, NC 28151-1508. The maximum deposit is $300. Fees range from $3.95 to $10.95 depending on the amount. Money on the account covers commissary purchases and Securus phone time. JailPackStore gives you three options for depositing money into someone’s account at Cleveland County Detention Center. Each method has different steps and timing.
Go to store.jailpackstore.com and find Cleveland County Detention Center. Select the person from the roster or enter their name, choose a deposit amount, and pay with a credit or debit card. A service fee is added based on the deposit amount (see the fee table below). This is the fastest way to send money without going to the facility.
You do not need to create an account to use the website, but creating one makes it easier to track transactions and resend deposits in the future.
The JailPackStore kiosk is located at 407 McBrayer Street, the McBrayer Street facility. If the facility has moved operations to the new Justice Center at 100 Justice Place, the kiosk location may have changed. Call (704) 669-3001 to confirm where the kiosk is currently located before making the trip.
Bring the person’s full legal name and identifying information. The kiosk accepts credit and debit cards. Fees apply at the same rates as online deposits.
Mail a money order made out to the person’s name to:

On the money order itself, write:
Do not send personal checks or cash. Money orders take longer to process than online or kiosk deposits. Mail processing time plus facility processing means it can take several business days before funds appear on the account.

Money deposited through JailPackStore goes into the person’s inmate trust account. They can use it for:
JailPackStore also lets you send pre-defined commissary packs directly to the person. These are not cash deposits but physical packages of approved items. Options include:
Packs range from approximately $11 to $27 each, plus a $4.95 shipping fee. Order at store.jailpackstore.com and select the commissary pack section. The facility receives and inspects the pack before delivering it to the inmate.
The maximum deposit is $300. There is no published daily or weekly limit beyond this cap.
The facility may place a hold on an account for disciplinary reasons, court-ordered fines, or restitution obligations. If the person tells you a deposit is not available to them, have them ask housing staff about any account holds.
If the person is transferred to another facility within the county or to a state facility, contact JailPackStore at (800) 822-9388 to ask whether funds can be transferred. Money in a county trust account does not automatically follow the person to a different system.
If the person is released, remaining trust account funds are typically disbursed to them upon release according to facility policy.
