Overview
Clermont County Jail uses Access Corrections as the commissary deposit vendor. You can send money online, by phone, or through the lobby kiosk. Money orders mailed directly to the inmate at the facility are also accepted. Jail staff cannot accept cash or money orders at the desk. Do not try to hand money to jail staff directly. What Funds Cover
Money deposited on the account covers commissary purchases: snack items, hygiene products, writing materials, and phone cards for making prepaid calls. The trust account does not automatically fund phone calls through CPC’s direct pay system. Those are two separate accounts.
Phone Account vs. Commissary Account
A common point of confusion: Access Corrections deposits go into the inmate’s commissary trust account. To receive phone calls or allow the inmate to make calls using direct pay, you need a separate CPC account.
Commissary deposits: accesscorrections.com or 1-866-345-1884
Direct pay phone account: inmatesales.com or call CPC at 859-441-5554
If a deposit doesn’t show on the inmate’s account within 24 hours:
Log in to your Access Corrections account and check the transaction status.
Call Access Corrections at 1-866-345-1884 with the transaction confirmation number.
Call the jail at (513) 732-7500 to ask if there’s a hold or processing issue on the account.
