North Central Regional Jail Visiting Hours and Rules

Visits are Tuesday (3–8 PM), Thursday (8 AM–1 PM), and Sunday (12:30–5:30 PM). Sessions are 30 minutes, one per month. The inmate must request your visit through the facility kiosk before you arrive.

North Central Regional Jail allows in-person visits three days a week: Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday. Each session is 30 minutes, and inmates may receive one visit per month. Before heading to 1 Lois Lane in Greenwood, make sure the inmate has requested your visit through the facility kiosk. Showing up without a prior request means you’ll be turned away. Visiting Schedule

North Central Regional Jail schedules in-person visits on three days each week.

The inmate must submit a visit request through the facility kiosk before you come. If a request has not been submitted and approved, you will be turned away at the door. Confirm with your loved one that the request is in before you make the trip.

What to Bring

Bring a valid government-issued photo ID. Accepted IDs include a driver’s license, state ID, U.S. passport, or military ID. Social Security cards, insurance cards, and self-generated identification are not accepted.

Children

Minor children must be accompanied by a parent, legal guardian, or immediate family member. A notarized permission slip and a copy of the child’s birth certificate are required at each visit. These must be brought every time, not only the first time.

Dress Code

The facility enforces a dress code for all visitors. You will not be allowed to visit if your clothing does not meet these requirements.

Not allowed: shorts, hats, sleeveless tops, tops with sleeves that don’t reach the mid-upper arm, see-through clothing, low-cut tops, underwire bras, or skirts or dresses (unless approved in advance).

Plan ahead and check your clothing before you leave home.

Non-Contact Visits

All visits at North Central Regional Jail are non-contact. You and your loved one will be separated by glass or a partition. There is no physical contact during the visit.
