How to Search the Mesquite Jail Roster

Go to apps.cityofmesquite.com/police_web/jail/index.php. The page loads a current list of everyone in custody — no search bar, just a live list sorted alphabetically. Scan by last name. Each entry shows the full name, charges, and bond amount.

The roster reflects custody at that moment. Someone who posts bond and is released will drop off the list. Someone who just came in may not appear until the booking process is complete.

Why a Name Might Not Be Showing Yet

According to the City of Mesquite’s official FAQ, the booking process varies in complexity — it can take minutes or hours depending on the arrest. During that window, the person is in custody but not yet on the roster. Wait at least an hour after a confirmed arrest before assuming they’re not there.

If They’ve Already Left the Mesquite Roster

For felony or Class A/B misdemeanor charges, transfers to Dallas County Jail happen within 24–48 hours.
